We’ve recently had the pleasure of welcoming some new faces to our staff and Board of Trustees, and wanted to introduce you to them as well!

Recent Staff Additions

Renae Frigo headshotLong a friend to The Conservation Foundation, we are thrilled to now call Renae Frigo our own.  Renae has been very active in our regional conservation community, both personally and professionally, and is now The Conservation Foundation’s Land Stewardship Manager.  Renae started her career as an environmental educator and naturalist, then switched focus to preserving, restoring, and enhancing natural areas. She holds a B.S. in Biology and a M.S. in Education. Renae lives in Glen Ellyn with her husband, two children, and a lovable mutt. When off the clock, she enjoys hiking, biking, running, cross country skiing, gardening, traveling, and volunteering for various eco-efforts.

Alison Paul headshotAlison Paul has joined The Conservation Foundation’s family as our first Vice President of Community Conservation. Alison has more than 15 years of experience working in formal and informal educational settings, from Colombia to Chicago, strengthening people’s connections to themselves, others, and the place where they live. Prior to joining our staff, Alison worked at the Field Museum of Natural History’s Keller Science Action Center as a Senior Program Manager for the Chicago Region, guiding and managing their community-based environmental work.  Alison is a National Environmental Leadership Program Fellow and holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and a M.S. in Social & Cultural Foundations in Education.   An active mom of two kids, she is also a certified yoga instructor, Association of Nature and Forest Therapy guide, and an overall outdoor fanatic.
